Happiness

Someone once said that the recipe for happiness is quite simple. It goes something like this: If your basic necessaries such as food, shelter, clothing, and medicine are taken care of, all you need is a little human love and friendship. These words are not God’s eleventh commandment. So you can embellish them to satisfy your own palate. Some people would probably put in a pinch of money and sex. For others, added ingredients like capoeira or square dancing may work just as fine. The underlining message is that, to achieve happiness, you don’t need to spend your short life trying to amass a lot of everything. I easily found some happiness last week — in the form of having dinner with a popular teacher and some old school friends.
