“Make hay while the sun shines.”

(English) Meaning:

  1. Make full use of one’s chances before it is too late.
  2. Make the earliest use of one’s opportunities.
  3. Seize the opportunity to do a thing while circumstances are favorable.
  4. Do not Wait until tomorrow for rain may ruin the harvest.

(繁)意思:【趁晴曬草】。也可以引伸为‘未雨綢繆’或‘勿誤農時‘。

(简)意思:

chèn qíng shài

cǎo

也可以引申为’未雨绸缪’或‘勿误农时‘。
