“A belly full of gluttony will never study willingly.”

(English) Meaning:

  1. A person who lives to eat but thinks of doing nothing is a good-for-nothing.
  2. A full belly neither fights nor flies well.
  3. Fat paunches make lean pates.

(繁)意思:【飽食終日,無所用心】。(論語:『飽食終日,無所用心,難矣哉。』)。也可以解釋為‘肚大腦小’或‘此人腦滿腸肥’。

(简)意思:

bǎo

shí zhōng

suǒ yòng xīn

(论语:『饱食终日,无所用心,难矣哉。』)。也可以解释为‘肚大脑小’或‘此人脑满肠肥’。
