“Kill not the goose that lays the golden eggs.”
(English) Meaning: Anyone who claims more than his is already receiving is very likely to get nothing at all in the future. The origin is from a Greek fable which tells a man who possessed but killed the goose that laid one golden egg every day because he wanted all the eggs at once, got nothing at all in the future.
(繁)意思:【不要殺雞取蛋】或“勿殺雞取卵”。也可以引伸為“勿竭澤而漁”。
(简)意思:
