“Happy is the country that has no history.”

(English) Meaning:

1. History is, indeed, little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind.
2. Blessed is that Nation whose silent course of happiness furnishes nothing for history to say.
3. Another saying: “Happy is the nation that has no history”.

（繁）意思：【沒有歷史的國家是幸福的】。

（简）意思：

méi	yǒu	lì	shǐ	de	guó	jiā
没	有	历	史	的	国	家
shì	xìng	fú	de
是	幸	福	的
