“Dancing Alone In A Dream” is a piano piece in waltz style. It depicts a girl dreaming of dancing alone in a gorgeous palace. The piece is in E minor (Em).

The two main themes of the piece are as follows:

Theme 1 is repeated four times while theme 2 is repeated twice harmonized by a descending chromatic progression. For each recurrence of the themes, I have used different techniques, such as adding ornaments, using triplets, octaves and crossing hands. The piece has a coda rounding off the waltz with a series of chords.

The time duration of this piece is around 2’29.
