“Make yourself all honey and the flies will devour you.”

(English) Meaning:

1. If you are too obsequious, others will treat you with contempt.
2. If you are too servile, others will treat you with contempt.
3. Don’t be a yes-man.

（繁）意思：【如果你把自己變成了蜂蜜，蒼蠅就會來吃掉你】。

（简）意思：

rú	guǒ	nǐ	bǎ	zì	jǐ	biàn
如	果	你	把	自	己	变
chéng	le	fēng	mì	，	cāng	yíng
